Porsche has plans for a new mid-engined supercar that, if given the go ahead by bosses at parent company Volkswagen, will take it into direct competition with Ferrari, McLaren and Lamborghini.The new two-seater supercar will be priced above the Porsche 911 but under 918 Spyder. This would put the car in the same price bracket as the Ferrari 458 italia and the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.
